  • The SCAH Trustee Committee:

The Committee: 

  • SCAH's quarterly meetings include the wider network of Committee members (shoppers), supporters and representatives from local churches.  
  • A light lunch is provided at the quarterly meetings on a 'bring along a plate of food' basis and the wider Committee are provided with updates from the Trustees.  
  • It is discussions here at these meetings that steer the initiatives made to progress the work.

  • The Trustee Committee is responsible for the governance and operation of the charity. Individually, members of the Trustee Committee look after the arrangements for the Annual General Meeting (AGM - minutes of latest AGM below) and the quarterly meetings of the Committee; the co-ordination of the shoppers and the different partner groups with which SCAH has relationships; fund-raising and the finances of the charity and monthly, financial reporting. to members, donors and other supporters
  • The Committee consists mainly of the shoppers and other supporters. The individual shoppers tend to be linked with one or more Partners.
  • The Partners are the organizations which refer their clients for SCAH's support, when appropriate. SCAH's contacts within the Partners use the 'Request for support form' (see tab above) and emails to contact SCAH.
